The Duplicity of The Right

So, we recently ended eight years of Obama, and entered our first full year of Trump. Being a ‘right-winger’, in the more founding manor I might add, and thus having been deep into the Tea Party Right, I personally remember when the right was up in arms over being blocked and silenced online by the left. I was one of them. It used to infuriate me as much as the next guy. At the time, having no contrast yet, I assumed the right would never imitate their offenders if and/or when the day they took back power.
WAS I WRONG! BIG-TIME.

In the lead-up to the election and post Trump’s clinching of the candidacy, I noticed the beginning signs of what the next four years had in store which only fueled my #NeverTrump position more. Let me be clear, I have never needed to hear ad nausea how bad the left is. Today, that is ALL we hear. I know how bad they are; we all know it. We just left eight years of their insanity which was on top of thirty previous years of my life and more than one-hundred years prior to that. How much more do we need to hear about the damn left!?

Apply this much attention to our own deplorable side, clean up our side first, and then we have a winning strategy.

I find myself at odds now with the people I previously found solidarity with because as they see all their efforts missed by Trump, beginning with our signature issue Obama care, having been betrayed by Trump and he threatening his own Conservative base to pass RINO care, the right begin to lose again. This is why we see Israel consulate being blown completely out of proportion. It is such a monumental deal that Trump couldn’t get himself to attend. Give me a damn break! This is no different than Obama finding a golf course more attractive than attending a significant event and I remember the right losing their minds. Not a WORD from the right asking why Trump couldn’t attend. See the problem?
The rights conduct is a form of desperation because they can’t honestly point to the right and say we are reversing the progressive era. Trump may be doing some things right but again, even a stopped clock is right at least two times a day.
This week we witnessed Beck make a sudden shift, dawning the proverbial #MAGA hat. Not out of character for him, he tends to swing emotionally as rapid as our modern politics, but his justification is the level of despicableness I am referring to. Apparently, it’s just gone too far. I would ask, WHEN HASN’T IT? This is just a reason to shift his own politics to fit the new model of losing. If he were rooted in sold Conservatism, he would see right thru the left, IGNORE IT, and apply the same level of anger at the side whom has power and is letting it all go to waste.

I say this now to all self-proclaimed Conservatives – STOP LISTENING TO THE LEFT! We know who they are but in our incessant need to point fingers we are losing who we are.

Others, like Steve Deace, made their shift slowly. Beginning with defying the term “never” and setting an expiration date on it. Taking a position with a closet Trumper like Mark Levin, Deace has no choice, and we should not fault him as he’s making more many than he’s ever made. But, we’ve seen this before, that man’s name is Rush Limbaugh, and he turned out to be a fake Conservative or “Conservative Inc. as Deace labeled appropriately. FYI- while I dime out Deace I still listen as he provides at least a 98% Conservative radio rating unlike anyone else.

Recently I posted a comment to a Right Scoop article which the author wasted no time to then attack my comment. Of course, I responded in kind and after a couple more back and forth comments he banned me. I read our diatribe and then read their policy and there were absolutely zero violations of their snowflake policies. If you have never read any of these sites comment rules, do yourself a favor and read them! You will think you are reading some leftist website. Basically, they can ban you for anything and everything including your screen name. Is this their right? Damn right it is.

But for a side whom claims to be for “open and honest debate” it once again shows why we are losing via imitation of the left. Blocking people, we don’t agree with is LOSING! We are losing our identity, our values, our ability to fight by becoming the left, and now you see why we have little to no contrast between sides.
